Princeton Montessori School, founded in 1968, is an independent, coeducational day school dedicated to the highest quality education of children according to the values and principles of the Montessori philosophy.

The Montessori Method of education, developed by Dr. Maria Montessori, is a child-centered educational approach based on scientific observations of children from birth to adulthood.

Our faculty members are developmental specialists for the age they teach. All lead teachers hold a Montessori teaching credential for their level and many hold advanced degrees.

Princeton Center for Teacher Education (PCTE) provides training, workshops, and seminars to current and aspiring Montessori teachers and administrators from around the world.
