DESCRIPTION

An environment optimized for learning

“The child should live in an environment of beauty.”

Maria Montessori

The school building is situated amidst farmlands and trees while the classrooms are spacious and purposefully designed to appreciate this natural beauty.  The campus offers several age-appropriate playground areas, flower and vegetable gardens, and even chickens to be cared for and eggs to be collected.

Teaching and learning take place in classrooms that are large and comfortable with tables for group interaction and writing.

The building is designed on one level to accommodate wheelchair access. The school is centrally air-conditioned and all classrooms have large operable windows that provide fresh air and natural lighting.

Yuki’s garden is as much a work of art as it is a place for quiet reflection. The fenced garden  is a memorial garden designed in Japanese style and landscaped with perennial flowers and a fishpond.
